Latin Music’s Vinyl Revenue in the US Has Already Surpassed the Entire 2025 Total

Latin music’s vinyl boom in the US is having quite the year. According to the RIAA’s newly released mid-year report, Latin vinyl generated $13.7 million in revenue during the first half of 2026, already well ahead of the $7.4 million generated throughout all of 2025. The format moved roughly 800,000 units through the first six months of the year, representing a 291.2% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Revenue, meanwhile, jumped 245.8% year over year, from $4 million to $13.7 million. Vinyl helped push overall physical revenue for Latin music to $14 million, more than triple the $4.2 million generated during the first half of 2025. Still, physical formats remain a relatively small piece of the picture: streaming accounted for 96% of the $542.2 million generated by Latin recorded music in the US during the period.
