LCD Soundsystem Announce 100th NYC Residency Show, Al Doyle Announces Debut Solo Album Hollywood Saviour

It's time for another LCD Soundsystem residency. James Murphy and co. have announced a string of NYC shows slated for the holiday season at Queens' Knockdown Center and Brooklyn's Brooklyn Steel. It includes their 100th NYC residency show.The band — who are also opening for Harry Styles next year — have been doing residency performances in the Big Apple since 2017 with DJs, surprises, and afterparties. This year's consists of 12 shows over three weekends starting Nov. 19-22 at the Knockdown Center, continuing with Nov. 30-Dec. 3 at the Brooklyn Steel, and concluding with four more shows Dec. 10-13 at Knockdown Center. The Nov. 30 gig will serve as the 100th, and LCD will donate 100% of proceeds from ticket sales for that show to a charity to be announced.Tickets will first be available via an American Express pre-sale from Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 10:00 a.m. local time to Thursday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by an artist pre-sale on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. local time.
