Lime Garden – “Moving Target”

Lime Garden, Brighton-based makers of charismatic danceable indie rock, released their sophomore album Maybe Not Tonight in April. In the months since, it's become a 2026 favorite of mine — one of those quirky, fun, effervescently catchy releases that ingratiates itself more and more with each successive listen. So it's exciting to report that Lime Garden are coming to America, and they've got a new song out today.The fresh Lime Garden single "Moving Target" begins with a skittering beat and radioactive synth notes. Soon, Chloe Howard is lamenting love's foibles over funky, squelchy bass and wide-open acoustic chords. It's a fascinating arrangement for a classically winsome pop song, sophisticated but too much like a party to be pretentious.
