Earlier this year, he shared an emotive cover of Cameron Winter’s ‘Love Takes Miles’ for Valentine’s Day, dedicated to his wife Susan. Now, he’s shared his take on Twisted Teens’ ‘Wild Connection’ from their album ‘Blame The Clown’, which was released earlier this year. Writing on Substack, Tweedy said: “I’m back from Europe and sharing a song by Twisted Teens. I recommended a different record of theirs recently. I like a lot of their songs and I like Caspian’s voice. I had trouble not trying to sing like him. “That happens with a lot of the voices of singers I like,” he continued. “When I play their songs, I’m trying really hard not to do an imitation. But one of the reasons I do so many cover songs is that I think it’s good to hear something you like and then see what it feels like to try it on, almost like clothes.
