Loretta Lynn’s Jack White-Produced Album Van Lear Rose Is Finally Returning to Streaming

In 2004, Jack White convinced country icon Loretta Lynn to come out of retirement and cut a new album for the first time in over a decade. The result was 2004’s acclaimed, Grammy-winning Van Lear Rose, which White himself produced. Cut to 2021, and the album was sadly and mysteriously pulled from streaming services. Luckily, White’s Third Man Records is righting that wrong, as the label has announced that the record will return to DSPs on November 13th. Of course, given that it’s Third Man Records, the digital return of Van Lear Rose also comes accompanied by a physical repress. Remastered from the original analog tapes, the project will be available on CD, black vinyl, and limited-edition vinyl. Pre-orders are ongoing.
