Tillamook, one of the top leading cheese and dairy product brands in America, is facing an unusual backlash. Some MAGA-coded nutballs and folks who don’t read very well are waving pitchforks because Tillamook cheese is halal-certified. Tillamook saw itself trending on X Friday morning after several “America First” types took to the social media platform to decry the brand’s halal certification and the fact that they brand their cheese as vegetarian.
