Mannequin Pussy, MIKE and more feature on new Soul Glo album, NA I’M GON GRAB ALLAT

The album arrives as a follow-up to 2022’s Diaspora Problems, and sees Soul Glo expanding on their established sound of extreme hardcore, punk and hip-hop. New single and album opener “February Theory” arrives as a preview of the collection of songs, featuring backing vocals from Tati Salazar of Commitment. Vocalist Pierce Jordan delves into his experience of relationships ending each February, defining his spiritual rebirth as "the scorpion, the eagle, and finally the phoenix." Describing the album's lyrics, Jordan says they are "largely about failures, mine and others, in my relationships with different men in my life." He dedicates the record to "everyone who has known the joy and pain of loving a man. All different types of love: platonic, romantic, familial, self." Recorded at Foto Club in Philadelphia, it also features guest appearances from Oxbow vocalist Eugene Robinson, New York rapper MIKE, BbyMutha, TV On The Radio's Tunde Adebimpe, and Mannequin Pussy's Bear.
