As the resistance to generative AI is consistently on the rise, Mary J. Blige’s endorsement of the practice has rubbed some fans the wrong way. The actual reel itself appeared on Facebook and now only seems the full session in question appears on Suno’s Facebook page. In the clip, Mary J. Blige is in a studio being asked about what Suno is. She quickly ascertains that the program “AI’s” vocals and then puts out a song in that spirit.Blige seems pleased with the results and appears to accept what the producers were able to create using her vocals as a backdrop.
