Massive Attack members banned from re-entering Singapore after Palestinian flag display

Two members of Massive Attack have been banned from re-entering Singapore after the group displayed a Palestinian flag at a recent concert. The country’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has also said it will not approve any future applications for Massive Attack to perform in Singapore. According to a joint statement from the police and IMDA, as reported by Channel News Asia, the two men were investigated for “their actions of support for a political cause and unfurling of a foreign flag” during the performance, and issued warnings for offences under the country’s Public Order Act. “Both men will also be banned from re-entering Singapore,” the statement added.
