Matthew Perry three-part documentary coming to Netflix next month

A three-part documentary series about Friends star Matthew Perry is set for release on Netflix next month. The comedy actor, known worldwide for playing Chandler on the hit 90s sitcom, was found unresponsive in a hot tub in his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023. He was later pronounced dead, with his death being attributed to the acute effects of ketamine, with drowning and coronary artery disease listed as other factors. In May, Perry’s live-in assistant was jailed for three years and five months for his role in the actor’s death. Prior to that, drug dealer Jasveen Sangha and rehab counsellor Erik Fleming were also sentenced for prison for supplying him drugs. Now, a three-part documentary series, titled The One With Matthew Perry, will explore the actor’s life and struggles as told by the people who were close to him. It is due to debut on the streamer on October 27.
