midori jaeger unveils intimate new song, "safe"

"safe" follows previous singles "planted" and "hunted" and is described as one of the most intimate moments on the EP. The acoustic track follows a delicate cello rhythm as jaeger explores what it means to feel secure while navigating uncertainty within a living situation.

"The ‘house within a house’ I mention in Safe was the flat I rented with my ex-partner, a home that had felt safe and stable, whilst also uncertain and stifling" jaeger explains. "The song asks if another person can ever be truly aware of how safe they had made life feel, questioning the chasm that can exist between two people who are, contradictorily, so close."
