Miley Cyrus has announced a new album, Bass Persuades, out on September 18th via Atlantic Records. She’s also confirmed two special headlining shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16th and 18th. Bass Persuades serves as Miley’s 10th studio album and the follow-up to last year’s Something Beautiful. It’s also marks her first release on Atlantic Records, having signed to the label from Columbia earlier this year. Also of note: she’s releasing it under the under the mononym “Miley,” making her the latest pop star to embrace a one-name identity. Miley hasn’t offered many details on Bass Persuades, but she did tease the new project in a recent issue of Wonderland Magazine, which she guest-edited: “This album is a love story, but love stories are never one-dimensional. They’re always layered,” Miley said. She continued: “There is definitely a romantic thread weaving through it because, like all my records, it’s a reflection of where I am in my life.
