On Sunday, November 24th, voice actress Pamela Hayden will officially wrap her time on long-running television series The Simpsons. A core member of the cast for 35 years, Hayden is best known for providing the voice of Milhouse Van Houten, Bart Simpson’s friend and classmate, while also lending her talents to characters like Jimbo Jones, Rod Flanders, and the wife of Police Chief Wiggums.

“The time has come for me to hang up my microphone, but how do I say goodbye to The Simpsons?” Hayden reflected in a statement. “It’s been an honor and a joy to have worked on such a funny, witty, and groundbreaking show, and to give my voice to Milhouse (and Jimbo Jones, Rod Flanders, Janey, Malibu Stacy, and many others).”

Showrunner and executive producer Matt Selman added, “Pamela’s talent and joy and love for her characters has added a magic to The Simpsons that will never be forgotten. Everything’s coming up Pamela!”

The final episode of Hayden’s Simpsons career is titled “Treehouse of Horror Presents: Simpsons Wicked This Way Comes.” The logline for the installment teases a time-traveling adventure for Lisa that will take her to three different stories and timelines.
