Millie Bobby Brown has teased a mysterious new project with her Stranger Things co-star David Harbour.
The pair played Eleven and Jim Hopper across all five seasons of Netflix’s hit sci-fi series, with their father-daughter dynamic becoming one of the show’s emotional centres.
The show came to an end at the end of 2025, and now Brown has confirmed that she and Harbour are already preparing to work together again, “sooner than expected”.
Speaking on an upcoming episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz (via Variety), Brown said that she and Harbour have “concrete” plans for a new project, although she stopped short of revealing exactly what it is.
“Father-daughter is where we live, but Netflix will always be our home,” she said, when asked about the possibility of another collaboration.
“The David Harbour project is sooner than expected, and it’s David’s idea, so kudos to him.”
Her comments follow Harbour previously hinting that the pair were developing multiple ideas together.
“You’ll see more of me and Millie,” Harbour said earlier this month. “Ten years wasn’t enough. There is a special bond there. I love her. She loves me.”
The news comes after several months of speculation about the pair’s off-screen relationship.
Last November, it was reported that Brown had filed a harassment and bullying complaint against Harbour before production began on the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. The outlet said there were no allegations of sexual impropriety.
At the time, neither Brown, Harbour nor Netflix commented publicly on the report. However, both actors have since spoken warmly about their working relationship.
“It’s a show that went on for 10 years. We worked together for 10 years during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter. I don’t know if people have families and friends that you spend a lot of time with for 10 years — you occasionally get in arguments, disagreements,” Harbour said earlier this month.
“It was just a simple rupture-and-repair thing that, once we cleared everybody out of the way and talked to each other, we’re fine. Everyone nowadays is very scared of talking about things. People are very scared of being human. It’s unfortunate, because I don’t know how to navigate this weird media world. But it was completely normal, and we adore each other and always have.”
Brown added: “Obviously, I changed so much from season 1 to season 5, and David was there through all of it.
“Over time, our relationship became much more collaborative creatively. When you work with someone for that many years, we could really push each other emotionally in scenes. Even though the series has ended, there’s still a lot of gratitude. Getting to share that experience with him for so many years is something I’ll always remember and value.”
Brown previously insisted that she felt safe on the set of Stranger Things, saying: “Of course I felt safe. I mean, we’ve worked together for 10 years. I feel safe with everyone on that set.”
Harbour has also spoken recently for the first time about the “weird” experience of Lily Allen detailing their break-up on her 2025 album ‘West End Girl’.
