Mk.gee Returns with New Single “Lonely Fight”: Stream

A little over six months after sharing his debut album Two Star & the Dream Police, Mk.gee is back with “Lonely Fight,” a new standalone single.

With his signature guitar tone, woozy production, and soulful tenor, “Lonely Fight” is a nostalgic and evocative gem. More a meditative ballad than a rousing anthem, Mk.gee would bust out “Lonely Fight” on his previous spring 2024 tour, and the live version quickly became a fan-favorite. Check out the song below.

“Lonely Fight” also arrives ahead of Mk.gee’s 2024 fall North American tour, which commences in Vancouver on September 2nd. The North American run ends in early October, and Mk.gee will continue with a short run of European dates followed by some end-of-year shows in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to sharing his debut album this year, Mk.gee worked as a songwriter, producer, and session musician for artists like Omar Apollo and Dijon. He shared his first mixtape, A Museum of Contradiction, in 2020.
