Mr T has criticised a new Netflix documentary about him, labelling it as “garbage”. Untold Mr. T: I Pity The Fool is due to be released on the streamer tomorrow (Tuesday September 8), and looks at the life of The A-Team star, real name Laurence Tureaud. However, in an interview with The Guardian, Mr T revealed he wasn’t a fan of the documentary, accusing it of omitting elements of his life. “The documentary pissed me off, because they didn’t cover a lot of stuff,” he said. “When I saw it I was like: ‘What the heck?’ It’s garbage. You build me up, then you try to punk me out. I said: ‘Wow man, I’m more than that.’ “Two days they interviewed my pastor, and he gets 30 seconds [on screen],” he added, saying: “That’s what we call, in the black community, a white man wanting to change the story and control the narrative.
