Mynolia Announces New Album Salt Around My Bed: Hear “Holy Line”

In May, Mynolia released her first song "Needle," a sprawl of indie folk laced with field-recorded birdsong. It was followed by the gorgeous "Run Like Hell," and today the Nashville-based singer-songwriter is announcing her debut album Salt Around My Bed. The new single "Holy Line" is another entrancing ballad."This song emerged almost fully from a vivid, bittersweet dream," Maja Presnell explains. "It's disorienting when there is no discernible distinction between the dream memory and a real-life memory. 'Holy Line' is about reuniting with something you'd never really had, or had all along but didn’t know it. The album's title, Salt Around My Bed, comes from the second verse: 'draw circles on my back in the new just like the old, salt around my bed, hoping you'd come along.'
