Indira Paganotto, Martin Garrix, and MRAK will take the stage at Wonder World Extreme Park in Bangkok for Neon Countdown 2024.
For EDM fans in and around Bangkok, there might as well be only one New Year’s Eve celebration. Neon Countdown is slated to draw 15-20,000 revelers to Wonder World Extreme Park on December 30-31. With two months to go, organizers have now shared a phase 1 artist for the monumental gathering.
Perhaps no other artist on the bill commands as unique of a draw as Martin Garrix. The Dutch superstar — who achieved meteoric success on the back of his 2013 breakout hit “Animals” at only 17 — rarely plays New Year’s Eve countdown sets. This makes Neon Countdown a can’t-miss festival for his diehard fan base.
That’s not to discount what Indira Paganotto brings to the table. Hard techno is thriving if Verknipt’s ADE events were any indication, and the globetrotting DJ and producer was responsible for some of the most unforgettable moments.
MRAK, also known as Carmine Conte and as one half of Tale Of Us, will bring his melodic techno flair to Neon Countdown as well. The Italian duo’s Afterlife brand has set a new standard for cinematic live music experiences. Case in point: Anyma, the other member of Tale Of Us, is playing an eight-night run of dates at the Sphere outside Las Vegas.
Also on the bill are two Belgian acts: Lost Frequencies and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. The former artist gained traction for 2014-2015 hits like “Are You With Me” and “Reality.” The latter duo are perhaps best known for their DJ sets on the Tomorrowland mainstage as they’ve been residents of the festival since 2010.
Neon Garden will provide extensive food and beverages for purchase, including vegetarian and vegan options. ATMs and portable chargers will be accessible, adding convenience to the larger-than-life experience curated by the festival’s organizers.
Tickets to Neon Countdown 2024 start at THB 4,000 for a two-day pass. They’re selling quickly, so make sure to secure yours on the Neon Countdown website.
