New Radicals Ready First New Album Since 1998

In July, New Radicals quietly released "One Night Only (Break Loose Break Free!)," their first original song in 28 years. It was for the rom-com movie One Night Only, but it turns out that New Radicals have a lot more in store. In a new interview, Gregg Alexander revealed that a followup to 1998's acclaimed Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too is on the way, and it's called Maybe You've Been Brainwashed TWO."We do have the official 'You Get What You Give' follow-up; we just want to build up to releasing it incrementally," the musician told Music Business Worldwide of his hit, which, in recent years, has been covered by Geese, Benee, Gus Dapperton, and other young artists.When asked what he can reveal about the LP2, he said, "That I am hearing it is better than the first one. And that our first [proper] single is apparently as good as 'You Get What You Give.'" And what happens after that? He answered:This album is called Maybe You’ve Been Brainwashed TWO.
