NO CURE Signs With SharpTone, Streams Crushing New Single "Don't Need Your Help"

No Cure is now streaming their unrelenting new single "Don't Need Your Help" featuring guest spots from Jesse Clark of Wielded Steel and Nick Chance of Beautiful Child Of God. The single comes from No Cure's debut EP on SharpTone Records, I Hope I Die Here due out on December 6

"'Don't Need Your Help' is about my touring experience throughout the country, and learning that many people still view the Southeast through a lens of negativity," said No Cure vocalist Blaythe Steuer. "The meaning behind the song is broad, in the sense that it certainly acknowledges the painful past of the region. But it also makes clear that it doesn't help anyone to continue shitting on the current people here that only want to make it a better place for everyone."

Steuer continued: "It was critically important to me to have two of my closest friends sing on this song. The first being Nick Chance (Beautiful Child of God), and also Jesse Clark (Wielded Steel). Both of them have shared these kinds of experiences as well. Overall, it is an extremely overstimulating and hard-hitting track, and I can't wait to rip it live."

Pre-orders for I Hope I Die are available here. The EP and its guests are:

  1. "Hang Me From the Bible Belt" (Feat. Daniel McWhorter of Gideon)
  2. "Don’t Need Your Help" (Feat. Jesse Clark of Wielded Steel & Nick Chance of Beautiful Child of God)
  3. "Forced Coagulation" (Feat. JT Anderson of Cold Hard Steel)
  4. "The Basement Beneath the Fountain" (Feat. Kayhan Vaziri of Wretched Blessing & Yautja)
  5. "Your Children Will Drown In the Burning River" (Feat. Matthew Hasting of MyChildren MyBride)

  7. "The Problem Is You (Same Old Shit)" (Feat. Michael Collier of The Slam Brigade)
