As Complex reported, Leray recently paid a visit to The Jason Lee Show. The “Players” rapper discussed motherhood, co-parenting and family, including a welcome update on her relationship with her father, Benzino. “Me and my dad are really cool now. Like I love him so much,” she told Lee. Leray explained that becoming a mother has given her a new perspective on family. According to BCK Online, Benzino regularly FaceTimes to check on her daughter, Miyoco, whom she shares with Trippie Redd. His granddaughter apparently has no problem stealing the spotlight during those calls.“He doesn’t even ask me how I’m doing,” Leray said, describing how quickly her father asks to see Miyoco. Watching the two develop their bond carries particular meaning for Leray, who said she did not have a close relationship with her own grandparents.
