Noah Kahan brings his mental health foundation The Busyhead Project to the UK

The Busyhead Project, a not-for profit mental health foundation, provides resources to those organisations dedicated to meeting the needs of marginalised communities with both crisis care and tools for sustainable resilience. Whilst in the UK, Noah will implement the extensive mental health safeguarding that has been used during his US tour.

Some of the initiatives are a Busyhead “Activism Village”, which included local organisations who work to improve access to care and to end stigma around seeking it; partnered with Propeller to increase donations to The Busyhead Project through daily ticket upgrades; partnered with Backline, to provide access to care for band/crew, including: access to a trusted network of mental health and wellness providers; wellness days throughout tour, and a Mental Health Fund to cover care.

Local mental health organisations, such as PAPYRUS UK, have been invited to engage with Noah’s fans at the UK arena shows to raise awareness and funds to support their hard work in the mental health space. Since its inception, $2.5 million has been raised by The Busyhead Project to benefit over 55 organisations across the US, Canada, Mexico to expand access to care and reach more underserved communities of young people.

Noah Kahan says: “I’ve been given so many wonderful opportunities in my career and it really is all for nothing if I don’t try and give back to the community that has supported me. If I can help anyone get through their struggles, it will be the proudest achievement of my career”.
