Noel Gallagher Unveils Reason for 2027 Oasis Tour, Shuts Down Possibility of New Music

Any lingering doubts about whether the Gallagher brothers got along during the 2025 Oasis reunion can be put to bed. Speaking with the UK’s talkSPORT, Noel Gallagher revealed that the band decided to go on their recently announced 2027 tour early into their 2025 reunion. The band made up their mind on the ‘27 tour after the second Wembley show in July of ’25, Gallagher said. The guitarist and songwriter elaborated, “Nobody really knew what was going to happen or how it was going to go. So we did Cardiff and Manchester, then by the time we got to Wembley somebody said ‘Well, you know?’ and it was decided we were going to do it.” The band had to do more European shows, Gallagher said, because fans in other countries had been so good to them over the years.
