Oasis tour promoter granted licence for gigs at Knebworth

The promoter of Oasis’ huge ‘Live ‘25’ tour has been granted a licence to host gigs at Knebworth, making rumours of a 2027 comeback more likely. The licence allows for events up to 125,000 people, and permits the promoter to plan live music events that can run up to 3am. The licence came into effect immediately, according to a report from BBC News, and will remain in place indefinitely. Oasis are just one of the bands that SJM helps organise gigs for, and in the past the promoter has also hosted performances from the likes of The Prodigy, Take That, Peter Kay and more. While the licence doesn’t necessarily mean that the promoter is looking to plan any gigs for Oasis, it does make the rumours that the Britpop giants are returning to Knebworth seem more likely.
