Olivia Rodrigo has donated all of the profits from her first show in the Philippines to a charity that focuses on women’s health.

The ‘Vampire’ singer – who is half Fillipina – took over Bocaue’s Philippine Arena this past Saturday (October 5) to a sold out crowd. Following the end of the show, Rodrigo took to her official Instagram account to reveal that all of the net profits made from that show had been donated to the nonprofit Jhpiego which works “to ensure moms and babies receive quality health care” (as per their website).

“Been dreaming of this show for a whileeeee. my first time in the Philippines and also my biggest venue ever!!!!! thank you to everyone Manila for welcoming me so generously and making me feel so loved and thank you to @americanexpress for making this show happen. I’m SO stoked that all the net ticket sales from last night could be donated to @jhpiego through my fund 4 good,” read the caption of Rodrigo’s post.

She continued: “I got to visit the organization while I was in Manila and was so impressed by the work they are doing providing healthcare to women and girls in the Philippines. It was the most special show and the most meaningful trip. to say I’m grateful doesn’t even cut it! Mahal kita ❤️”

In her post, the three-time Grammy Award winner shared photos of her visit to the Jhpiego office, with one showing her sat around a conference table with a group of women and another of her and the organisation’s team members standing together while holding a “welcome” sign.

“We are beyond honored to be the nonprofit #oliviarodrigo chose to support during her first visit to the Philippines,” Jhpiego wrote in a statement which was shared onto their Instagram Story. “Her generosity and commitment to women’s health will make a lasting impact. Together, we’re helping more young women and girls access the care and support they need!”

Rodrigo has been supporting women’s causes during her ‘GUTS’ world tour through her Fund 4 Good global initiative. Since the star of her tour, a portion of her ticket proceeds have been continuously funneled to local nonprofits that champion girls’ educations, reproductive rights and more.

Earlier this year, the ‘Get Him Back!’ singer made headlines for handing out contraceptive kits with condoms, Plan Bs, and information for abortion access at her show in Missouri. The state notably banned almost all abortions after Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022. The kits were part of a reproductive rights initiative held on her tour, in which the National Network of Abortion Funds would have a booth at every show on her North American leg.

In other news, Rodrigo has announced new dates for her rescheduled Manchester shows, and they’re just after Glastonbury 2025.

The singer shared that she’ll be playing Manchester’s Co-op Live arena on June 30 and July 1 next year, and tickets purchased for the original shows will be transferred to the new dates automatically.
