It turns out Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles is a massive League Of Legends fan.

Lyles won gold in the men’s 100m sprint earlier this week, beating Jamaican Kishane Thompson and fellow American Fred Kerley in what has been dubbed the “greatest 100m final in history” with all eight finalists crossing the line in under 10 seconds.
Lyles isn’t done with the Olympics yet either, with two more gold medals up for grabs in the 200m sprint and the men’s 4x100m relay. However, Lyles has already revealed how he plans to celebrate once he gets back home – by playing League Of Legends.
Taking to social media after winning the bronze in the Canoeing Slalom K-1, Olympic athlete Pau Echaniz revealed he was streaming League Of Legends via Twitch. “I won’t get on a canoe until I reach gold,” he wrote.

“This bout to be me after the 4x100m,” wrote Lyles. “Fastest man in the world plays League… Rammus main confirmed,” added the official League Of Legends X account.

Following the win in the 100m sprint, Lyles was heralded as the “fastest Dragon Ball fan” in the world as he celebrated his win by mimicking Goku’s iconic kamehamaha attack from the anime.

During the Olympic trials in June, Lyles went viral for pulling out a Blue-Eyes White Dragon Yu-Gi-Oh! card ahead of the race.

Earlier this year it was revealed that Imagine Dragons have been late to their own gigs because vocalist Dan Reynolds has been busy playing League Of Legends. “Look, I’m really tall, 6 foot 4, never played sports, always did music and drama, so people probably think I’m not a gamer, but it’s my bread and butter. It’s our world,” he explained.
In other news, a number of Fallout: London players are complaining about frequent crashes with the mod with developers currently working on a fix.
