New venue ORIGIN Los Angeles is marking its grand opening weekend in October with headline performances from MRAK, Malive, Liva K, and Kölsch. While Los Angeles has been home to plenty of tried-and-true venues for electronic music events, recent years have seen more pop up to lay their claim in the growing scene. The latest to throw its hat in the ring is ORIGIN Los Angeles, which intends to become the newest place for forward-thinking experiences in Southern California. ORIGIN Los Angeles announced that it will open its doors on October 9 and mark the occasion with a headline performance from Afterlife co-founder MRAK. That is just the beginning of the fun, as the following day will feature a pair of shows to keep the party rolling. The venue’s first Saturday daytime event will bring Brazil’s Malive and Greece’s Liva K to the stage, while the vibe shifts in the evening hours as legendary producer Kölsch takes control of the decks for the third show of the weekend.
