Orville Peck, Iceage, Courtney Barnett, Eartheater, Modest Mouse and Slow Pulp lead first wave lineup for Treefort Music Fest 2027

The festival runs from 31 March to 4 April 2027 across downtown Boise. More than 180 artists from 18 countries and 28 US states have been confirmed so far, with further names to follow. Peck and Barnett open the headline programme on Thursday with Friday led by Berlin dance-pop artist horsegiirL, alongside a second headliner yet to be announced. Saturday brings Modest Mouse and Chicago's Slow Pulp, and Sunday closes with Thee Sacred Souls, who have played Treefort before, and four-time Grammy-nominated folk songwriter Jesse Welles. Elsewhere in the heavier and more experimental corner of the lineup are electropunk band Lip Critic and emo-folk duo hey, nothing, while hip-hop is covered by Kenny Mason and the New Orleans artist La Reezy. UK names are led by Enter Shikari and Sleaford Mods. The festival is also highlighting Latinx artists with cumbia group Los Mirlos, Bardo – Chicano Batman’s frontman – and Colombian-Nicaraguan artist Cain Culto. A Best Fit-favourite, the independent festival held each spring in Boise, Idaho celebrates its 15th birthday this year and spreads across venues in the city centre, including Treefort Music Hall and the stages at nearby Julia Davis Park.
