Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning Film to Hit Theaters in October

Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning will receive a worldwide cinematic release on October 28th via Trafalgar Releasing and Mercury Studios. The film documenting the final performances of both Ozzy Osbourne, as well as the original lineup of Black Sabbath, was captured just 17 days before Ozzy Osbourne’s passing at age 76. The all-day concert at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, took place July 5th, 2025, and also featured a bevy of other metal and hard bands, including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Tool, and more. Tickets for showings will go on sale September 24th at 10 a.m. EST via the film’s website ahead of the film’s limited run in movie theaters. Sharon Osbourne said of the endeavor, “‘Back to the Beginning’ came about because I asked Ozzy what would really make him happy. And he said the only thing that would make him happy was if he could perform again and say goodbye to his fans. That’s all he wanted to do.
