Pacha New York Opening Weekend: Michael Bibi, Black Coffee to Christen the Club

Pacha New York’s opening weekend straddles the 2026 summer solstice, with world-class headliners on the bill for both nights.

Pacha New York has announced its opening weekend, a two-night affair headlined by two of the biggest names in dance music.

On Saturday, June 20, Michael Bibi will usher in a new era for the space situated at 140 Stewart Ave. in Brooklyn. And he’s a talent fit for the occasion, as his curated One Life London show in July 2024 set the record for the biggest dance music event in the city’s history.

Black Coffee will take to the decks on Sunday, June 21, the official first night of summer. The decorated DJ and producer is well known to be a trailblazer; his international superstardom predated that of most of his fellow South African electronic acts by nearly a decade.

No supporting acts have been announced at the time of writing. But neither Michael Bibi’s nor Black Coffee’s sets are billed as open-to-close, suggesting that additional billings might be revealed in the weeks leading up to both events.

Pacha’s flagship nightclub opened in Ibiza in 1973. Its parent company, The Pacha Group, owns venues throughout Europe and Asia. In October 2023, FIVE Holdings purchased The Pacha Group for €302.5 million ($320 million USD).

Pacha previously set up shop in New York City with a superclub that operated from 2005-2015. This time around, it will occupy the space previously inhabited by The Brooklyn Mirage after its botched reopening forced its parent company, Avant Gardner, into bankruptcy.

This week, Pacha New York also announced plans to give unrefunded Brooklyn Mirage ticket holders credit that they can redeem on food and merch in the new club.

Tickets to Michael Bibi’s headline event currently start at $187 including fees, while those of Black Coffee’s night start at $154. Purchase yours and find additional information on the Pacha New York website.
