Parannoul Alter-Ego Huremic Shares New Record No Dancing Allowed

The anonymous, cult-beloved South Korean shoegaze auteur known as Parannoul has made a lot of music over the past few years, but he has been relatively quiet in 2026 — nothing since the one-off track "연말 다짐 (New Year’s Resolutions)" in early January. But the same artist also makes music under the alter-egos Huremic and Mydreamfever, and now he's got a new Huremic record out in the world.I'm not quite sure what to call Huremic's new project No Dancing Allowed. It's got three tracks, all of which are at least 10 minutes long. So what is that? An album? An EP? The music doesn't fit into any easy categories, either. It's a percussive instrumental swirl of samples and guitars that feels transportive. Even at its most extreme, it's never abrasive; it just melts into the walls around you.
