Peter Dinklage is set to join the hybrids, synthetics, and Xenomorphs of Alien: Earth. The actor has been cast in Season 2 of Noah Hawley’s sci-fi series on FX (via Deadline).
Dinklage’s role has not been revealed. He’ll be Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Amuel Blenkin, and the rest of the Season 1 cast when shooting begins in May.Unlike Season 1, which was shot in Thailand, Alien: Earth Season 2 brings the franchise back to London’s Pinewood Studios, where the 1979 original film, Alien 3, and Prometheus were all filmed.
The casting marks a return to FX for Dinklage, who appeared in an episode of The Lowden last year. Next up, he’ll appear alongside Dave Franco in Macon Blair’s Idiots, out August 28th.
