Phish sent Drew Carey a blender as thanks for his wild Sphere show tweets

Phish were the second band to play Las Vegas’ Sphere venue with their four-show run over 4/20 Weekend. Among the many gushing reviews was comedian and Price is Right host Drew Carey, who ended his Twitter/X hiatus with a string of epic, profanely vivid posts that went viral and had many people wondering if his account got hacked.

“Swear I just talked to God I would give you all my money, stick my dick in a blender and swear off pussy for the rest of my life in exchange for this,” he wrote. “Bro I met God tonight for real. I feel like I just got saved by Jesus no lie.” He then added, “This is what it must feel like to cum with a pussy Because if it’s even close I’m flaying to wherever tomorrow and getting the best pussy money can buy. I don’t need to be a man no more of it means I can feel like this all the time Fucking keep it bro if I can get this feeling.”

But it turns out it was in fact Drew Carey, who went on to note that he hosts “Friday Night Freakout!” on SiriusXM, and appeared on Comedy Central’s After Midnight to talk about it, saying he had never seen them before but they blew his mind. “It was like being edged for four days straight.” You can watch that video below.

Phish hilariously returned the favor by sending Drew a blender as a thank you that hopefully he won’t stick any part of his body into. A nice blender too: a Vitamix E310. They wrote on the card, “So thrilled that you could be at the Sphere with us! Hope you enjoy this gift and let’s do it again. Sending Mountains of Love, Phish.” Drew also noted they autographed the Vitamix in silver marker as well: “Thank you Drew! See you next time, happy blending!”

Phish have a new album, Evolve, due in July and their 2024 tour includes two shows at Woodstock’s Bethel Center for the Arts. No NYC dates on their schedule currently but they usually have a Madison Square Garden run at New Years. Stay tuned.
