Phoebe Bridgers Is Throwing Lost Weekend Listening Parties in Planetariums

Phoebe Bridgers is taking her new album’s celestial artwork seriously. In partnership with Spotify, the “Lost Boys” singer-songwriter has announced special listening parties for Lost Weekend that will take place inside planetariums, from August 10 through the LP’s release date of August 14.Each listening session pairs Lost Weekend with one of two original visual accompaniments: a custom dome show, designed by night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi, or an immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy. All listening events are phone- and camera-free, with devices being secured in Yondr pouches upon arrival and returned to attendees after they leave the planetarium dome.Fans in the United States, Canada, Ireland, England, Scotland, France, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand can check it out in person at over 40 different locations.
