Placebo announce 2027 South American tour to celebrate first two albums

Placebo have announced a 2027 tour of Latin America celebrating their first two albums, with shows across Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Mexico. READ MORE: Placebo: “David Bowie taught me how to be a better person” The run forms part of the band’s ongoing 30th anniversary celebrations and will see Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal revisit material from their self-titled 1996 debut and 1998 follow-up ‘Without You I’m Nothing’, including tracks that have not regularly appeared in their live sets for years. It begins at São Paulo’s Suhai Music Hall on February 20 before heading to Brasília, Curitiba and Porto Alegre. Shows in Buenos Aires, Santiago, Lima and Bogotá follow in March, before the tour concludes with dates in Guadalajara and Monterrey.
