Pokémon Announces Two EDM Shows to Celebrate 30th Anniversary

Marshmello and Alison Wonderland are slated to perform at Pokémon Night Out, a special show series celebrating the brand’s 30-year anniversary, in Los Angeles and London this fall.

Pokémon has been a global cultural phenomenon for decades, with its video games and anime series expanding into merchandise, a collectible card game, and more. This year marks the beloved brand’s 30th anniversary, and to celebrate in style, they’re hosting a once-in-a-lifetime EDM experience for fans in the US and UK: Pokémon Night Out.

Two Pokémon Night Out shows are slated for the fall. The first will take place at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on October 24, and the second at The O2 Arena in London on November 10. Both shows include the same lineup, with megastar Marshmello slated to headline, and Alison Wonderland to perform in support.

Marshmello has been a key figure in the dance music scene for years, with the masked DJ not only traversing genres from pop to dubstep but also making appearances in video games and more. Alison Wonderland continues to ride high in the scene, with her own standout releases, headline shows, and festival appearances drawing huge crowds wherever she performs.

Those heading to Pokémon Night Out will be treated to an experience featuring cutting-edge technology and animation that will bring its characters to life in ways that have never been seen before. Attendees can also grab new merchandise celebrating the show from Pokémon Center, including themed Pokémon plushes of Pikachu, Mewtwo, and more.

This summer will see the debut of Pokémon Day Out, an immersive experience that will take place in the United States, France, Germany, and Mexico.
