The mini-album opens with the double A-side, led by vocals from singer Ella Harris alongside cello and harp as the songs offer the band's take on desire, vulnerability and the push and pull of connection. Harris describes the remake as an "exploration of desire and play, the vulnerability of connection and the fear of keeping your eyes open through it." A DREAM LIKE THIS was originally developed as an adapted live set during the album's release week. These new arrangements have now been recorded and expanded into a standalone project. On each track, PVA experiment with synth melodies and new layers of instrumentation while maintaining the electronic foundations of the original tracks. The release follows a busy summer of live shows for PVA, with festival appearances including The Great Escape and End of the Road, followed by a special headline show at London's ICA as part of their 'In The Round' live series, with the venue offering a space for PVA to bring their new material to the stage and capture the atmosphere of the project.
