The Barbican has announced that Lankum vocalist Radie Peat will be performing her first solo album, No Human Tongue Can Tell, in May 2027.
The addition of the new show lands just as Peat's November Union Chapel gig sold out last week, as well as the announcement of her upcoming album just yesterday, and the reveal of her new single "The Moon and Stars", an adaptation of the traditional song "The Maid's Lament".
The performance will take place in the Barbican Hall on 19 May 2027. Her solo departure will see her bring the same folk sensibilities to stage that she's nurtured as a singer and multi-instrumentalist as a member of Lankum. Tickets are on sale now from £29.
