Radiohead Announce Japan Residency

During a mid-set break at this year’s Summer Sonic festival in Japan, a teaser highlighting old Radiohead footage with the words “Tokyo 2027” appeared on screen. A week later, multiple billboards with slightly different phrasing—“Radiohead 2027”—popped up around Tokyo’s Miyashita Park. What, exactly, the band had planned for the country next year was further kept under wraps—but no longer. Today, Radiohead announced both Japan and Australia residencies for 2027. They will hit Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney, before making their way up to Saitama, Japan, for a total of 21 shows. No word yet on Tokyo sets.
