Rivers Of Nihil is set to reissue their debut EP Hierarchy on November 8 via Metal blade Records. The EP was originally released independently in 2010 and has been remixed and remastered by original producer Carson Slovak at Atrium Audio for this reissue. The vinyl edition comes with an etching on Side B, considering the whole EP is only four songs long. Pre-orders are available here.
"On November 8th 2024 a remixed/remastered version of our 2010 debut EP, Hierarchy, will be available on vinyl and all digital platforms for the first time ever," wrote Rivers Of Nihil of the reissue.
"After band practice on a rainy day in autumn 2010 we uploaded these songs to our MySpace page, sparking a buzz in our local Reading, PA scene and sending us on a journey that our 17-23 year old selves couldn’t have ever imagined."
Rivers Of Nihil in 2024 is bassist and lead vocalist Adam Biggs, guitarist and vocalist Andy Thomas, guitarist and keyboardist Brody Uttley, and drummer Jared Klein. Rivers Of Nihil recently wrapped up the recording and mastering of their fifth full-length album slated for release in 2025. The record will feature two previously released songs — "The Sub-Orbital Blues" and "Criminals" — plus eight new tracks. Stay tuned for a new single to be unveiled in 2025.
