Robot Sunrise to Debut Live-Hybrid Orchestral Show in Los Angeles

Melodic techno artist Robot Sunrise is one of the most industrious talents to emerge onto the international electronic music scene over the past few years. As the solo project of producer/DJ/multi-instrumentalist Danny Klein, he brings to life a euphoric venture across the house and techno realm where Klein has spent years refining this artistic vision into a rich, story-driven experience for the fans.

Earlier this month, Robot Sunrise dropped his expansive new single “Take Me,” featuring a celestial-like atmosphere complemented by a graceful yet powerful blend of melodic techno. Now, he is ready to delve deeper into that headspace with the debut of his immersive, live-hybrid showcase, The Robot Sunrise Experience, on November 9 in Downtown Los Angeles.

The Robot Sunrise Experience Show is a chance to tell the story of Robot Sunrise in a profoundly moving way. Though it will have a high energy melodic techno dance party vibe, we’re adding live orchestral elements – with Chihsuan on violin and Zach Ramacier on trumpet and flugelhorn. A gang of the Robot Sunrise characters will be on stage and in the crowd as the Robot Sunrise story is being told through expressive dance, and the True / OTG fam is building a crazy custom stage and lighting set up to showcase it all.

This unique, one-of-a-kind micro-festival will take place at a 600-person capacity warehouse, complete with stunning projections, a vintage ’80s Klipsch sound system, custom staging, and captivating wooden vault ceilings that will send the attendees into an all-night melodic techno extravaganza. Attendees will be treated to a headlining performance by Robot Sunrise, accompanied by an orchestral ensemble including GRAMMY-nominated violinist Chihsuan and trumpeter Zach Ramacier.

That’s not all. The musical experience will also feature guest DJ sets from Bright Lights, Little Dinosaurs, Mikey Made, RK Midnight, and more, each offering a mesmerizing performance with their distinctive sound. To invite the audience to immerse themselves in a captivating science fiction narrative, each artist will embody a character from the Robot Sunrise universe by weaving in the dynamic interplay between music and storytelling.

Through this transformative journey, the world of Robot Sunrise explores the theme of the profound connection between humanity and self-discovery. Led by Ultra Music‘s lead aerialist Frankie Tan, the immersive experience aims to invite the audience to reflect on the nature of liberation and the power of dance music as Robot Sunrise will also donate part of the event’s proceeds to the Human Rights Foundation to further his artistic mission of inspiring positive change.
