It sounds like Scarlett Johansson got more than a little bit of a contact high during her first concert. While taking The Colbert Questionert on Thursday night, the actress revealed her first show was Cypress Hill at the now-defunct Roseland Ballroom in New York City.
“I’m still buzzing from it, man. I am,” Johansson recalled fondly. “I must have gone with a friend. I don’t remember, because I was so high… I think it was at Roseland. And I remember they rolled this huge blunt that was like this big. It was like the size of a Blimpie sub. And they smoked it on stage, all the members of the band, and then they passed it around the whole Roseland. Those were the days, man.”
Johansson is currently gearing up for roles in Mike Flanagan’s take on The Exorcist and Matt Reeves’ The Batman Part II. Meanwhile, Cypress Hill will continue getting fans high across North America (get tickets here) and Europe throughout the remainder of 2026.
