Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been accused of raping a woman as payback for her claiming that he was involved in the murder of Tupac Shakur.

The disgraced rapper was arrested in New York last month and subsequently charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transporting for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Diddy was later denied bail after offering a $50million (£38.4m) bond, and was reportedly placed on suicide watch as he awaits trial. The artist has since appealed against the bail denial. His trial date is scheduled for May 5, 2025.

Now, in a new lawsuit filed in California, a woman has claimed that the hip-hop mogul allegedly “violently gang raped” her as payback for a diss she had made which claimed that Diddy was tied to the murder of the ‘California Love’ rapper (As per the New York Post).

The suit alleged that the rapper, with the help of several unknown accomplices, used a TV remote to rape the woman. According to court papers, the woman had allegedly virtually met Diddy during a Facetime call made by a man she met outside of a bar back in February 2018 as an attempt “to impress people with his famous friend.”

As per Sky News, allegedly the woman told the man that she “was not impressed” and believed “he had something to do with the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur”. She claimed that she had heard Combs remark that she would “pay” for her statement and dismissal of him.

She alleged that the following month, while at the man’s house, Diddy arrived unannounced where he allegedly told her she would “pay” for her comment and proceeded to allegedly threaten to give her a “Glasgow smile.” She claimed that her clothes were removed and that the rapper covered her in an oil or lubricant, before picking up a television remote and “violently” raping her with it.

Diddy allegedly told the woman that “her life was in his hands and that if he wanted he could ‘take her’ and she would never be seen again”, and also that he “owned her now”. She then claimed that she was raped by Diddy and others “until eventually she had no control over her body nor could she move her body.” She also alleged that the rapper had recorded some of the assault.

She claimed that she eventually managed to run for help and that Combs offered her money to say she was a sex worker and that they had had consensual sex. She claimed she had told a local sheriff about what happened, but her complaint was “ignored”.

Recently, Tupac‘s brother – Maurice Mopreme Shakur – alleged that Diddy has been dishonest about his apparent lack of connection to the rapper’s murder in 1996.

Combs has never been charged in connection to the murder. Per the Guardian, in 2008, Diddy denied any connection to the shooting after an LA Times report alleged his associates, James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond and Jimmy Sabatino, helped stage a robbery of Shakur after offering the late rapper $7,000 to record a track at the studio on the night in question.

“The story is a lie,” he said in a statement in response. “It is beyond ridiculous and completely false. Neither [the late rapper Notorious B.I.G.] nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story.”

“My opinion is that I don’t believe it was a 100 per cent honest statement,” Mopreme Shakur said in an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored. “So, again, we gotta find out what’s true and what’s false. What’s real and what’s fake.”

He added that he had met with Combs years after Tupac’s death. “[He] basically said he had nothing to do with my brother’s murder. I told him, ‘The truth is still yet to come out, so we’re going to see.’ Here we are, 27, 28 years later, it looks like there’s some doubt in that statement, along with all the other suspicions that people have.”

Asked if Combs was lying, he responded: “Quite possibly and it’s kind of looking that way, in my opinion.”

Combs is in federal custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York City. He is next expected to appear in court on December 18. According to Rolling Stone, he could face up to 15 years in prison if found guilty.

Other reports suggested that he was not eating in prison out of fear of being poisoned. The bail denial meant that the rapper has been ordered to remain in jail while awaiting trial.

As emerged earlier this week, Diddy is now also potentially facing new lawsuits from around 120 people accusing him of sexual abuse and assault, including 25 minors.
