The reality for a pair of former reality stars? So far, almost nobody is watching. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy’s new six-part YouTube series, The Great American Road Trip, premiered on the US Department of Transportation’s official YouTube channel Wednesday after months of promotion, delays, and questions surrounding its funding. Nearly a full day after the series was released, the first episode had drawn just 2.9K views, while the second sat at 1.7K as of Thursday afternoon. Things drop off sharply from there: episode three had 753 views, episode four had 638, episode five had 690, and the finale had just 607. The show follows Duffy, his wife, Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy, and several of their nine children as they travel around the country in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. Their itinerary begins in Philadelphia and includes a visit with Donald Trump in the Oval Office before moving on to stops in Boston, Wyoming, Charleston, and Arizona.
