This year’s edition of Splash House was plenty of fun in the Palm Springs sun. Here are some of the standout sets that helped define both festival weekends.

Splash House continues to reign supreme in the Southern California summer. While the festival might be known for its non-stop partying, hotter-than-hell temperatures, and unique atmosphere, the music brings everyone together and makes each edition special. After all, what would Splash House be without some stunning performances that help you find your groove while splashing around in the pool?

Over the years, the festival has hosted countless artists in its deeply curated lineups. Some have solidified their place at the top of the house and techno scene, rising artists have made their splash, and even more have found the footing for their careers, which move in an upward trajectory soon after.

Splash House was no different in 2024, with two more impressive lineups for both weekends that featured some of the hottest names in house, techno, and a touch of bass. Fly With Us at the Palm Springs Air Museum

The first weekend started with a bang for those who flocked to the Palm Springs Air Museum as Fly With Us (AC Slater and Chris Lorenzo) powered forward with a mighty house-fueled set. The two juggled between some of their biggest hits, like AC Slater’s “Seismic” and Chris Lorenzo’s “Pump” and “MAMI,” but also layered in were some gems from Sammy Virji and Disclosure that helped set the tone for Splash House this year.

AIMMIA at Margaritaville

If there’s one rising artist who took the stage at Splash House this year that is destined to do big things, it is AIMMIA. Her rise through the ranks of the scene has been remarkable over the past few years as she’s grown from taking over the decks at side stages to finding her way into more prime time slots on larger ones. AIMMIA impressive productions and curated tracks back her rise, and she put that all on display when she took over the decks early in the day on Sunday during the first weekend as she ran through everything from house to drum and bass and more.

Alesso presents BODY HI at Renaissance

One of the sets I looked forward to most during the first weekend was the one from Alesso, and he delivered arguably my favorite of both weekends. While his releases have centered more on pop-leaning soundscapes over the years, his new BODY HI project has flipped all expectations from me. I was blown away by his performance at the Do LaB at Coachella in April, and when he graced the decks at the Renaissance, I was beyond hyped up. There was something special about hearing some of his most iconic tunes and recent gems twisted in this new sonic direction that hit the spot for me and impacted the crowd, who were belting out lyrics and dancing from start to finish.

Odd Mob + OMNOM: HYPERBEAM at Margaritaville

What happens when you mash two phenoms in the house music scene together? Pure magic. That’s exactly what Odd Mob and OMNOM have displayed lately with their collaborative HYPERBEAM project. Those who were at Margaritaville during the first weekend were treated to another impressive set from the duo, who seemed to have the pool splashing the entire time from the moment they hopped on stage. From their hit tracks to some drum and bass goodness as a treat at the end, it was a set for the ages and the perfect way to close down the festival’s first weekend.

Wenzday at Margaritaville

Margaritaville was the place to be both weekends, but few sets during the second weekend were as fiery as the one Wenzday threw down. She’s been on an absolute tear in 2024 and rightfully drew a massive crowd in the sweltering 107-degree heat. Wenzday put her Heartbreak House sound on full display throughout the performance, packing in many of her originals, fresh tunes, collaborations with other artists like KAYSIN, and so much more.

You’d be sorely mistaken if you thought we’d slept on John Summit’s set that kicked off the second weekend. While his previous set at Splash House caused quite the commotion at Margaritaville, he dominated the decks at the Palm Springs Air Museum this time around – and even with more space to dance, the crowd was filled to the brim. He ran through his biggest hits, recent gems off Comfort In Chaos, dropped a dose of Charli XCX and Billie Eilish, and kept everyone grooving until the final minutes of the night.

Meduza at Renaissance

While AC Slater bumped at Margaritaville and SG Lewis dominated Saguaro, Meduza brought Splash House to a proper close at Renaissance. His set packed the pool area full from the jump with a crowd that swelled to soak in the weekend’s final set, and he fully delivered. Littered through the set were mega-hits like “Piece Of Your Heart” and “Bad Memories,” but also dropped ones that were an absolute vibe like “Another World” with HAYLA and a remix of Tinashe’s “Nasty Girl.”
