Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter Announce New Run of Fall 2024 Shows

4 weeks ago 9

After playing three rousing concerts at Bush Hall in West London earlier this month, Sex Pistols have announced a new run of fall UK shows with Frank Carter as their singer.

The lineup of Carter and classic Pistols members Steve Jones, Glen Matlock, and Paul Cook will play five gigs in September, including stops in Nottingham (September 20th); Birmingham (September 21st), Glasgow (September 22nd), Manchester (September 24th), and a previously announced concert at London’s 02 Forum Kentish Town (September 26th).

Tickets for a couple of the shows are available now via Viagogo, while the others go on sale Friday (August 23rd) at 9 a.m. local time.

Sex Pistols and Carter played their first show together on August 13th at Bush Hall, as part of a three-night stand to benefit the historic venue. The evening saw them ripping through every song on the Pistols’ lone studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, as well as a few other tunes. At one point, UK singer Yungblud joined Carter on vocals for “God Save the Queen.”

Footage from that gig showed Carter commanding the enthusiastic audience while paying homage to Pistols singer Johnny Rotten through his facial expressions and vocal inflections.

Following the run of UK shows in September, Carter will head out on a European tour with his band Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes in October and November. Tickets for that outing are available here.
