Shakira kicked off her massive Madrid residency this weekend, drawing approximately 165,000 fans across the first three of 12 scheduled shows and establishing early on that audiences shouldn’t necessarily expect the same concert every night. The Colombian superstar opened the run Friday, September 18th, at the purpose-built Estadio Shakira at Iberdrola Music, where approximately 55,000 fans attended the first night.
