The cult-classic zombie comedy Shaun of the Dead is being resurrected for its 20th anniversary.

Focus Features is re-releasing the 2004 Edgar Wright film into American theaters beginning on August 29th. The film will enter an exclusive limited engagement at Dolby Cinema at AMC theaters, complete with remastered picture and sound courtesy of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

“Twenty years ago, the worldwide release of Shaun of the Dead changed my life forever,” Edgar Wright wrote in a statement. “Its reception since then has continued to be incredible, largely due to the passionate fans who have championed it with cricket bats aloft. Now, as we celebrate its bloody 20th anniversary with a brand-new Dolby Atmos and Vision remastered version, I’m beyond excited for everyone to experience it once again on the big screen—the way it was always meant to be seen: large, loud, and with quite a lot of red on it.”

In addition to launching an exclusive Shaun of the Dead pop-up at the San Diego Comic-Con this week, Focus Features have also unveiled a brand new trailer commemorating 20 years of the horror-comedy with the tagline, “Shaun of the Dead: 20 Bloody Years.” Watch it below.

Initially released in the spring of 2004, Shaun of the Dead stars Simon Pegg, who co-wrote the film with director Edgar Wright, and Nick Frost as they attempt to survive a zombie apocalypse plaguing London. It was not an immediate financial success upon its release in ’04, but eventually became a beloved cult-classic and has since grossed upwards of $38 million against a $6 million budget. Shaun of the Dead also kicked off the “Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy,” a trio of comedy films from Wright, Pegg, and Frost that also consists of 2007’s Hot Fuzz and 2013’s The World’s End.
