A Vanity Fair interview game received major backlash this weekend, as Saturday Night Live’s Chloe Fineman shocked both her SNL co-stars as well as social media with a story about pants-ing a camper as a camp counselor. Vanity Fair has now edited the video to exclude some of the more offensive details, but the internet never forgets.
In the original video, Variety reports, Fineman explained that she was fired from her counselor job as a result of the incident, noting that prior to that point “He would lift my shirt all the time. It was a different time. He would be like, ‘Hey, could I have a hug?’ And then I’d go to hug him and he’d lift my shirt, like a dick.”
The details omitted by Vanity Fair’s re-edit of the story include that the boy was six, that he wasn’t wearing underpants so that his “little ding-a-ling was out,” and that co-star Ashley Padilla told Fineman, “Oh, honey, I think you’re on a list somewhere.”
You can see Vanity Fair’s re-edited version below, followed by the original clip as shared on X. Saturday Night Live is back on April 11th with host Colman Domingo and musical guest Anitta. Here’s Jack Black and Jack White collaborating on “Seven Nation Army” during last Saturday’s show.
