Sophia Stel Announces Debut the greatest album of all time: Hear “I Do”

Even if it's done with self-deprecating intent, and even if you go for the all-lowercase thing, it's just an unbelievably baller move to pick the greatest album of all time as the title of your full-length debut. That's what the young Vancouver electronic pop artist is doing, and you have to respect it. Even if she doesn't pull it off, at least she's trying.Over the past few years, Sophia Stel has really developed a minimal, downcast take on shimmering Euro-club styles, and she's toured with artists like A. G. Cook and Lorde. Stel has released a couple of EPs and impressed us with recent singles like "Molly In the Club" and "Now I've Got A Lot You Know." both of those tracks are on the greatest album of all time, which arrives next month on A24 Music. "I Do," her latest track, keeps her winning streak going."I Do" is a gorgeous piece of work about a sad but magnetic form of attraction. It gives me major Oklou vibes, and I mean that in the most complimentary way. Stel co-directed the song's video with Aaron Lum and Scarlet Ross, and it shows her wandering through New York's Diamond District.
